Fanless Embedded PC is adopted in Flight Information Display System (FIDS)
The flight information display system (FIDS) is a computer-based system that is used at the airport or airport-related business such as hotels, resorts, and convention centers to display arrival and departure flight information in real-time.
One of the world's busiest airports serves tens of millions of passengers per year. It planned to deploy a new FIDS above check-in desks, in departure lounges, at departure and arrival halls to bring better traveling experience and improve airport operating efficiency.
Customer's Requirements
The project required a high-performance computer to process a lot of high-resolution images, video advertising, and text data for immediate information display. The computer should be small-sized and have multiple mounting methods to integrate with different sizes of displays. Furthermore, it should withstand high temperatures in a closed space and operate efficiently under low power consumption and without fans to ensure 24/7 services.
Based on the above unique requirements, Cincoze DI-1000 embedded computer is picked out for this FIDS project.
Why Cincoze?
High performance & fanless design
Powered by 6th gen Intel® Core™ i5-6300U Processor, it offers high performance for fanless operation at only 15W power consumption and makes the DI-1000 ideal for high-end and low-power embedded applications.
Small size and flexible mounting
Featuring space-saving design (203 x 142 x 66.8 mm) and flexible mounting options (Wall/Side/DIN-RAIL/VESA), the DI-1000 is easy to integrate with different display sizes in any complex installation conditions.
Wide operating temperature
To prevent overheating when operating in demanding conditions such as under direct sunlight or a large amount of heat generated by displays, the DI-1000 supports a wide temperature range from -40 to 70°C to ensure non-stop operation.
