緊湊尺寸下具備豐富 I/O 和功能。原生端口包括：2x GbE LAN、4x USB 3.2、2x USB 2.0、2x RS232/422/485 埠，輕鬆連接各式高速或串列埠裝置。支援 2x 全尺寸 Mini PCIe 可擴充無線傳輸模組，以及 2x SIM 卡插槽以確保行動數據傳輸不間斷。精心設計的外部風扇，將有效排除由 PoE 供電的高功率相機所產生的熱量，確保卓越效能及穩定性。

DI-1100 可藉由德承專屬 CMI 及 CFM 模組進行 I/O 及功能的擴充，系統整合商可靈活配置並快速實現功能部署。CMI 模組可擴充額外的 LAN、10GbLAN、M12（A- and X-coded）等各種 I/O端口，而 CFM 模組可增添 power ignition sensing 以及 PoE 功能。

DI-1100 傳承一貫專為工業環境打造的強固設計。除寬溫（-40 - 70°C）、寬電壓（9 - 48 VDC）以及過電壓、過電流和靜電保護（ESD）等保護機制外，也符合美軍設備檢驗標準（MIL-STD-810G）並通過軌道交通市場 EN50155（EN 50121-3-2 only）規範、以及車載應用 E-mark 認證。
